This book makes you a fly on the wall inside a conference room with Steve Jobs, and on the receiving end of his midnight phone calls. This is not, however, a “tell-all-about-the-jerk” book.
The simle Segall wants to sell you: Nor was it Job’s leadership and drive. You have to pick carefully.

It’s a decent marketing strategy, certainly: It’s eye-opening to see Simplicity so crystallized in processes, products and people. I fully agree with the comparisons of Apple to other companies, based on simplicity, but it once again got very repetitive, I kept on hearing the same companies over and over again. Some parts of it were simle, unfortunately there was too much uninteresting rambling and the narration was kind of monotonous. To be fair, none is entitled “Think Steve”. I enjoyed the various stories about Steve Jobs and Apple but I found that they became the same stories every few chapters.
