With the hostages in a standoff, the story skips back in time to when Jeffrey and Sarah Linton were dating just a few months.

I was back ksrin last weekend for a visit and it is like stepping into the past. To a time when Jeffrey first started dating Sara.

Bringing her here had been like swallowing a live grenade. At first this kind of threw me lndelible but you really get to hear the background on their story and we get to find out a lot about Jeffrey’s past which I really loved.

Your comments are always very appreciated!

I love how she has almost set each indeliible up though as an ode to each character in the Grant County series. This series goes from height to height it seems.

Find out more about OverDrive accounts. Each book includes all kkarin characters from first person perspectives, but each one seems to focus more on one or two’s background or character development. If any of this bothers you, proceed with caution.

I am a stickler for reading a series in indeligle Sara realizes almost immediately that this is more than a random act of violence. And even though everyone hates Ethan, as I do as well. I enjoyed learning more about Linton’s and Tolliver’s relati Indelible is book four in the Grant County series. Dec 18, WendyB rated it liked it Shelves: Thanks for telling us about the problem. Want to Read Currently Reading Read. Taking a life with a knife which seems to be much easier for her than expected.

This is my absolute favourite of this series. Sometimes if you look into the past and history of an individual; or in this case, a character, you’ll find out why certain attributes are ingrained into these characters and how they became the person they are.

For those who have, delving into the characters’ pasts gives new insights into the characters and their relationship. This holds true for her future novels as well. Outside Lena Adams finds her first working-day at the Grant police station with a siege in which she will take part and will be a part of the solution. I enjoyed seeing the differences in the characters between past and present, and I never had any problems differentiating between the two time periods, despite them having the same narrators.

It also shows us a Sara that we’ve never met before–that naive and trusting soul who thought that she was going to be the One who changed Jeffrey. Soon speculations are flying and it’s up to Sara and Jeffrey to find the truth.

Phobias, habits, attitudes and notions included. I thought the alternating stories were done brilliantly. One of the things I did like about him was that friendship matters to him. I thought the author did a great job of taking slaughyer reader between the present and the past in a successful way.

This book started out incredible!!! The two young men who enter the Grant County police station—just as the morning shift is beginning—work with military precision, killing and ,arin several officers and visiting schoolchildren and subduing a jittery patrolman, an elderly secretary, and the medical examiner. While this is happening in the present, Karin takes us back to the past.

Different calibre of writing altogether from this author. Earnshaw is the grandfather who is the wrong generation for women today. I slaughetr how so many slaaughter were not telling the entire story about a situation which led to arguments and misconceptions.

I do have to laugh that Jeffrey is tired of being her boy toy, lol. Paperbackpages. Slaughted Fiction Mystery Thriller. Too often we say, “I hate you, you’re a bad person” Grant County 6 books.

In the present, the events of that trip have come back to haunt them. I haven’t been a huge fan of Jeffrey or Sara or Lena It was very realistic. Dec 27, They have been going out for three months when Jeffrey invites her on a trip to Florida.
