The teaser for the next book in the series was great and I am curious about the plot but not sure I will read the next book because of the descriptive sex. Surely we can all come up with dozens of other ways to introduce tension and drama in channce romance storyline, right?

To top it off, her history is wrong, including her fashion history. Like the author has a paint-by-numbers guide on how to write a developing romance and followed it correctly, but the sendy lacked any realness, any personality or passion. Cute story, but something that I may have already read before. Her dialogue is equally fantastic. Eva and Daniel were a lovely couple. The hero was anger personified and the heroine felt like a caricature of the timid female.

So, I thought I might skip a few pages only to find out I was at chapter 10 out of This story was entertaining and good. Lists with This Book. This was a quick read and a mostly sweet one. She was so insecure and shy after years of being bullied by her father and half brothers. Potter, the vicar’s wife, and the Dowager Duchess of Stratton and Ladies Fairlie and Dunbar — but the author also steps out of traditional regency with her commentaries and insights into the Ton: What a great idea for any couple!

Still filled with rage, Daniel decides to consummate the marriage by force, so he can leave for London. Daniel wants to make sure that he will not follow in his father’s footsteps of losing control of his anger and works to earn Eva’s trust.

On the other hand, Eva finds Daniel to be the most handsome man, looking like a gentleman should. I loved that the romance and love blossomed at a great pace where the reader could see them fall in love in their own time.

The romance was perfect.

The author writes a captivating tale. She was here and he was angry; therefore, Eva would bear the brunt of that anger.
